Together, we’re all creating a tremendous hiring community. And as a member of that community, we ask that you be respectful of the processes on our site. In order to continue to make RecruitiFi a simple, and profitable experience for everyone, we all have to play nice together.

These are a few of the things that you should and should not do to optimize your placement percentage and make the most of your experience on RecruitiFi.

Please Do...

Please Do Not...

Fill out your industries accurately

Ensure that you’re only invited to the right JobCasts and submit great candidates. Fill out your industries here.

Sign up for every industry

Or submit candidates to industries and roles you’re unfamiliar with. This will hurt your recruiter score and limit your JobCast invites in the future

Expect it to be exactly how you do business now

There are subtle differences, and learning a bit about them will allow you to make more money on RecruitiFi.

Respect the communication rules

Our employers regularly provide feedback through the system. We ask that you only reach out to employers directly, if they have personally contacted you. Our client success team is always happy to answer your questions when they arise.

Contact the employers directly

Or have your candidates contact the employers for updates. We have thousands of recruiters submitting tens of thousands of candidates. One of the main reasons employers choose to use RecruitiFi is to help streamline their recruiting process.

Set up your email notifications

Make sure you’re receiving your JobCast invites as they get posted. Update your notifications here.

Let these requisitions sit on the shelf

You only have a 30-day window to submit on these positions, and many hires are made faster than that.

Pre-qualify your candidates

Talk to your candidates, vet their experience, explain the position to them, and gauge their interest.

Submit unqualified candidates

Shopping unqualified candidates who get rejected by employers will hurt your recruiter score, and prevent you from getting JobCast invites in the future.

Have your candidates confirm interest

Tell your candidate to expect an email from RecruitiFi so they can confirm their interest in the position. Their resume won’t be submitted to the employer until they confirm through that email.

Submit candidates without their knowledge

If your candidates repeatedly fail to confirm their interest, your recruiter score goes down. Plus you're not eligible for a fee unless they confirm.

Remove contact info from resumes

Remove your candidate's name, email, address, and phone number from their resume as an extra precaution. Backdoor hires are infrequent, but this layer of defense helps us to track everything properly.

Leave all the information on the resume

If another candidate is hired on the JobCast, but the employer released your candidate's contact info, you're eligible for a runner up fee. We can't give you the fees you deserve if you give away all the information up front.

Format your resumes for the ATS

Many of our clients will immediately import your candidates into their internal systems for processing.

Submit poorly organized resumes

Among other things, that means you shouldn't include images, sidebars, odd fonts, or SPAM the ATS with keywords.

Say no to JobCasts that aren't relevant

On your dashboard, you can turn away JobCasts that aren't relevant to your specialties. This helps us provide you with more targeted invites in the future.

Ignore jobs you can't fill

This keeps your dashboard organized and refines your profile by giving us feedback. Over time, you'll receive more relevant JobCasts.

Update us with hiring info

Our employers will input any hires with start dates and salaries. But if your candidate should provide you with good news, let us know so we can accelerate the fee collection process.

Act as your own collection agency

Don't contact the employer or try to collect the fee directly. RecruitiFi acts as the approved vendor for these employers, and all collection must go through the approved channels.

Explain the relationships to your candidate

Explain very carefully that you are an independent recruiter who would like to submit them to an opportunity at a specific employer through the RecruitiFi system.

Pretend to be someone you're not

Make claims to directly represent the employer or RecruitiFi, and definitely don't use the company names or logos in any public or private posts about the job. We ask that you be respectful of the brands on our site at all times.

Submit your candidates through RecruitiFi

This is the only way that we can assure that you'll receive your placement fee.

Submit resumes directly to the employer

And definitely let your candidate know that they shouldn't submit their resume directly to the employer's website or email. Employers will not pay fees on direct submissions.
